HP _5500 printer

HP _5500 It was specially designed for CAD, desktop publishing, and geographical business environment applications. It offers flexible media handling capabilities and is easily networked and expanded. The printouts are crisp and clear, produced at a rate of 21 pages per minute. The image quality is excellent – 1200 x 1200 dpi. It uses a 300mhz processor, 16MB RAM, and parallel connectivity.

HP ColorSPan printer

Hp ColorSPan impressive results in an affordable, reliable printer.

  • Produce the print quality your customers demand. Piezo printheads deliver variable-sized micro droplets of ink to     achieve resolutions of 600 x 300, 600 x 600, and 1200 x 600 dpi. The six-color HP Colorspan Printer delivers     even higher apparent image quality—up to 1800 dpi.
  • Command attention. HP Colorspan inks and variable drop-size printheads combine to produce a greater image     detail and smoother color transitions across a wide variety of media. Add the roll-fed and rigid media versatility     you need.

  • Choose the media you want and print directly on it— no mounting required. Print on flexible roll-fed materials such as banner vinyl, adhesive vinyl, canvas, paper, and backlit film or      print directly on rigid material up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick and 96 inches (244 cm) in length. No laminating, transferring, or mounting required.
  • Reduce your printer's footprint without reducing functionality. Designed to fit any space, this welldesigned, hybrid UV printer easily converts from a roll-fed to a flatbed printer,      minimizing floor space. The tables extend outward from 36 to 60 inches (91.4 to 152.4 cm) to support board lengths up to 96 inches (244 cm).
  • Save valuable time and cut costs. Because the inkcures quickly with UV light exposure, you no longer need to wait for media to dry. Media is ready to go immediately, straight from the      printer. And because you can print directly on rigid media, you no longer need to spend the extra time and material expense for mounting or laminating. No-drip, quick      connect/disconnect HP Colorspan inks Easy and intuitive 7 inch /17.7 cm color touchscreen front panel .

         - Integrated front and rear roller tables fold down and out of the way for roll-fed operation, or fold out for printing rigid materials.

         - Automatic media thickness detection and motor-driven height adjustment to accommodate media up to 1 in/25.4 mm thick.

         - Media Edge Guides prevent head strikes caused by roll-fed media edge curl. 4. Dual-shuttered UV lamp housings eliminate special handling for various media thicknesses.         User-replaceable UV bulbs lowering operating costs.

         - Printhead service station fully maintains printhead health. This hands-off design eliminates the need for wiping or dabbing of printheads and ensures the printer is always ready         to produce top quality images.

         - Built-in static elimination discharges static build-up on both top and bottom surfaces of synthetic media.

         - Fully enclosed to provide protection from moving parts and stray ultraviolet light.

         - Adjustable Media Fence keeps rigid media feeding straight and prevents media skew.

Shark I

The normally used technology in the printers is Overlay of the Dots which uses more passes to make the print look finer .The dot size here is 80 pico litre which is very large and thus requires to be refined.

However, MICKROS TRIPLOUS technology uses lesser passes as the dot size is much smaller being 5 pico litre in SHARKi. Hence the placement of the dots in the print is closer to each other but not overlapping.

Shark I
is Gen 4 printer which can Print on Very high quality with High Production Mode

This facilitates better highlighting of midtones and obvious prominence of refined hues in all kinds of prints. 5 pico litre dot size for true 1200 x 1200 dpi image resolution. The technology uses 12 & 8 piezo print heads for jetting 5 pico litre drop sizes.

AUTOMATIC PRODUCTIVITY FEATURES

For quality assurance and ease of operation SHARK incorporates Advanced Automation Technology from Strategic that allows users to operate the machine from a desktop through a customized PCS (Printer Controller System). This allows the printer to automate the setup and calibration steps that are critical for achieving and maintaining outstanding print quality:

  • PCS Calibration analyses dot placement of printed patterns and automatically sets the bi-directional alignment calibration across variable print speeds and media thicknesses.
  • Calibration eliminates banding in prints and prolongs the useful life of print heads by mapping out jets that are not up to performance standards and compensating with other jets.
  • All PCS Calibrations are saved in printer mother boards as well as on desktop PCS. This allows users to use those calibrations in case of replacement of boards in either device.
  • Color Profiling using the customized color print RIP SHARK series printers can be color calibrated with different devices which automatically read hundreds of color swatches to     allow the RIP and color management software to create custom ICC and color profiles for the media you choose to print on.
